WD Drive Utilities not finding ANY drives

Hello,
I have two WD My Cloud Home drives (8tb & 4tb) and three other WD drives (4tb & 2 x 2tb).
All attached and displayed in Explorer and WD Discovery…but when I have installed WD drive utilities from disk and from WD website (as per other suggestions) NOT ONE drive is ever displayed.

Can someone please explain to me how to get WD software to recognise one of its own FIVE drives?
I can’t believe they supply software which is so faulty ?

Regards
Rick

It was never supported by MCH. The utilities are there to support devices attached to the Mac or PC.

Hello,
The three other drives are connected to the pc via usb and are wd elements drives and are not detected either?
So what drives does wd drive utilities actually support?

Rick

Install something like Crystaldiskinfo which will give you all the HDD SMART data which WD Drive Utilities won’t. The only thing the Utilities is good for is to set the power savings mode on the WD external drives.
