WD Drive Utilities doesn't see my disk

I’m on macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 and downloaded the WD Drive Utilities version 2.1.2.144 from the WD website. At launch, the utility doesn’t see ANY disk. I have 2 WD disks (a WD 14TB Elements and a 5TB Passport) connected to my mac, but the utility doesn’t see any of them.
Any idea what’s going on?
