A couple of months ago, my hard drive malfunctioned and I had to get a new one. I had the hard drive installed and now, in order to get my laptop to work, I have to leave my old hard drive plugged in with my external SATA enclosure. But that’s not the problem, I just tried to use my WD external hard drive and when I select the ‘WD Drive Unlock’ file that I used to select to get to my files, an error message comes up
(pictured) saying “You must run WD Drive Unlock application from the WD Drive Unlock CD associated… blah blah blah” I’ve looked in the WD Community and can’t find a solution that works, probably because I can’t find the same situation listed. I’ve tried everything I can think of including Google and have not found a solution.
PLEASE HELP!!!
