WD Backup & Security Apps no longer working

The software that came with my My Passport Ultra has quit working in the last month. Automatic backups have stopped occurring and the Apps will not open. Backups had worked correctly since I bought the drive and installed the software on my PC a little over 2 years ago. Any ideas on the WD Apps have quit working?

I have the same problem, how do I fix it?

I uninstalled the WD Backup software then downloaded the latest version of the Backup software from WD’s website and installed it,
