HDD crashed. No problem, I have everything backed up on my MyBook World Edition. I installed a new HDD, re-installed Windows 7 home premium, and installed the updated WD anywhere backup software v4.50. I can see all my backed up files and directories in Windows Explorer, so I know they are there. I activated Restore in WD Anywhere to restore all my backed up files to a clean, new HDD, separate from the drive with my OS. I directed Restore to my old backup plan and it performed the restore for the next 24 hours. While it did restore a lot, there are a lot of directories missing. Any idea why it would restore some directories and subdirectories and not others? As I said, I can go in to MYBook using Windows explorer and see those directores that were not restored.
Thanks
