Trying to format a new 2TB RED NAS via USB DOCK .
Started working with support and followed the instruction yet device will not format.
Used WD Diagnostic software to erase drive and then tried to format.
DIsk Management (windows) shows device almost totally unallocated.
I assume I will need Acronis Disk Directory or some other software to format drive.
Desktop has a clean install of Windows 10 Pro with 500 GB SSD and the 2TB RED drive for storage.
Currently using Laptop connected to (Via USB Dock) WD RED Drive to format WD drive and then will move internally to desktop once all is formatted and working with Windows 10.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Will contact Tech Support tomorrow to get an update on next steps.
