Warranty Services for lost bill

Hey,

I lost my bill for My Passport Ultra but i checked its warranty from the WD website and it is due till April 2017. My Hard Disk is not getting detected  by my laptop and i tried it on a few more laptops. Can I get my data recovered and get the hard disk replaced under warranty?

Data recovery isn’t covered by the warranty - you’d have to arrange and pay for that yourself. But the RMA should be covered fine unless you’ve voided your warranty in any way (such as opening the drive).
