Warranty issue question

Hi all,

I had an internal HDD (Green Caviar) that was broken. Sent to to WD via RMA and got back a new one, pretty fast and I’m really happy for that.

My question is regarding the warranty for the new HDD. According to WD webpage is only (aprox) 3 moths as it lasts only until May-2013, but I think it should be at least as long as the previous HDD I have (which was until mid-2014). Is this correct? Is the new warranty only 3 months long?

The warranty from the defective drive will be automatically transfer to the replacement unit within 3 months.
