Using existing domain with WD 4TB Mycloud

I have just setup my WD 4TB MyCloud drive and setup a new domain name with godaddy which I have forwarded to mydomainname.duck.dns.org (DDNS). I put in the current IP of my DSL modem in duckdns.org an also enabled port forwarding on my DSL for 443 to my Mycloud device. I can get to my stuff on the WD MC via an app just fine, but I cannot use a browser to connect. I get a error message that stating that it is forbidden to acces xxxx.xxx.org/UI.

anyone have any ideas?

I have not tried this, but are you trying to access the dashboard or the actual shares on the unit? Lets see if another user can share some tips or information on this matter.

I am trying to get to the login gui for user access. I dont want my friends to have to create a mycloud account, I just want to access this directly and not have to proxy through wd2go.com.
