Good morning everyone,
recently I have the cloud EX2 Ultra and I would like to update the version of the transmission that comes by default since it is very old (0.9.2 or so …).
How could i upgrade the app transmission to version 2.xx?
Please, if someone has the clue, it’s a great help

Well you can only install the ‘Transmission’ App on a My Cloud with firmware 2.21.126 or lower

It is really so easy, just 3 steps
Download the attachment WDMC-Gen2-BT-Client.zip
Unzip WDMC-Gen2-BT-Client.zip in mc Public folder
Ssh connect to your mc, Run this in console
sh /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Public/transmission-settings.sh
Ok, you get it, If reboot or shutdown your mc, just do step 3 again
Then use transmission with http://your mc ip:9091
The default gui user/pass is: username/password .You can change it with edit the file “transmission-settings.sh”
