Hey there, sudden my external hard drive just disappeared do you know how to fix this?
I have tried so far:

1 uninstall - install new drivers from device manager - nothing

2 access via disk management - show only unknown disk without volume.

3 chkdsk chek - appear message that disk is write protected

4 different computer - same result

5 different USB cablel - nothing

6 different usb electronic card from same model hdd - nothing

7 Data recovery software - can’t even detect it

Mechanically everything look fine - LED work, drive spin, there is no strange noise.

How can I get my data back? Help me please.

Is it showing not initialized in the disk management?

Hi.
Thank’s for replay.
Sometimes yes and sometimes showing partition with volume but without any other information.
Regardless of this when I try some action appear message that disk is write protected.
I check protection policy and strange things appears in field with owner name - just bunch of letters and numbers.
I try to fix this problem under windows 7 cmd with command DISKPART> attributes disk clear readonly but nothing happend for 3 houers and I close cmd.
Recently I managed to open disk in windows explorer and view every folder. Unfortuantely haven’t succeed to copy nothing but two small files. After that explorer freez and I have to reboot…
