Unable to Setup WD My Book Live

Hello everybody,

I bought wd mbl 2tb 6 months ago. I set it up at that time and later I detached it for some reasons from the network. 

Now, I when I attach it with my network, It turns on with constant blue light. As I installed fresh copy of windows 8, I am trying to run set up again.

However, the set up is unable to find My Book Live. I assume, the set up will scan only if the light will be green. I am not sure what should I do.

Also, If I try to open http://mybooklive  , it doesn’t work either.

It would be great if you tell me the solution.

Hello,

Try resetting the drive by using the reset button on the back using a paper clip. 

You may also try to map it using the  WD Link Software.
