Unable to open some pictures via WD My Cloud Mobile Android

I am able to connect to the NAS drive, open various pictures stored on it.  There is a series of pictures that when you select the image, the LOAD CIRCLE continues endlessly.

I have rewritten the pics on the drive.  I can open them from my PC connection without issues.  

I have disabled and re-enabled remote access to the drive.  Re-booted the drive.  I have deleted the WD My Cloud folder on my phone.  

So far no success.   

Any ideas?

Additional info:   

I did a clear cache, clear data on my android phone.  Made the My Cloud app start up from scratch.   Still same problem

Update:  I just moved the pictures that I cannot open via WD My Cloud mobile to my SD card.  

I cannot open these pics using Gallery either.  

Probably not a WD My Cloud problem.   

There is something about these pics that will not allow them to open on my Phone, but work properly on my PC.

Who knows…
