I just downloaded latest “WD SmartWare Installer” from WDC site. When I install setup wizard comes up and when I click next it shows finish button in less than 10 seconds. No error messages and nothing get installed.

Try to right click on the installer file and click on run as administrator, hopefully this can help you out.
What operating system are you using? Windows 7, 8, 10, Apple OS 10? Do you have a My Cloud, EX2 or what?
