Unable to access WD My cloud Gen2 with static IP

I used my cloud mirror configured with static IP in my previous place, recently I moved to a new place and forgot to change the static IP before I move. Now I am unable to access the device in my new place. I tried directly connecting the my cloud mirror to the laptop through ethernet still doesn’t work.

Any suggestion to access the mycloud.

Post in the correct sub-forum. Are you using OS3 or OS5?

I’m using OS3

Yup. This post is in the MyCloud HOME forum. . . .so people with OS/3 knowledge won’t see this easily.

For THIS case:

Option 1: either 4 second or 40 second reset (Do a search). This will reset parts of configuration, while leaving data shares intact.

Option 2: Change the ROUTER configuration so that it matches the IP assignment pool of the MyCloud Mirror.

Once you regain access: It is always best to assign static IP’s FROM THE ROUTER, not the NAS, which will completely eliminate these type of problems.
