Unable to access cloud mirror from explorer

Hi,

I have just opened the box and carried out the setup on my new 6TB my cloud. Everything went fine was able to see it on the network, access it from explorer then i ran the firmware upgrade. Now i can see the device on the network but when i click on the mirror in explorer it doesnt allow me access and says i have a network problem. However, I am able to access the device using the dashboard. Everything seems to be working correctly other than i have no access to it…

Can anybody suggest any reason?

I am running windows 10… not sure if that makes any difference.

thanks

craig

Welcome to the Community.

We have passed along this information to WD Support. On the meanwhile, do you encounter the same issue when using the desktop or mobile apps or when you try a different computer system?

I am have tried rebooting the mirror. Still the same from explorer. I get the error code: x80070035

I can from my itouch. have managed to move files across.

with the desktop icons that were installed i get the following results

Dashboard - have access

My Cloud Mirror Public Share - Askes for Network credentials for my PC. Have put “Admin” in here and now have access to the mirror using the IP address and am managing to move data over.

Still not able to access the “mirror share” from explorer though.

Again thanks for your help

Hello,

error code: x80070035 is a Windows network error, not a WD My Cloud Mirror error.

Just saying!

Thanks. I understand that but there is no reason why i cant connect to move data over the network BUT can connect to check if the device is working and set up users etc…

Had the same problem after the latest firmware upgrade with Win 7 explorer. Could see my NAS but was unable to access it. Even the WD backoffice could not figure it out. I had put my NAS on a static IP adress in the first place.

To solve my issue I just logged in the dashboard and put my IP setting under Network from static to DHCP and that solved my issue. Maybe you can try something out. Don’t know if its the exact same problem
