Trying to join the domain I get the following error. I am using the domain admin user name and password:
Failed to join domain.Failed to lookup DC info for domain ‘DomainName.LOCAL’ over rpc:Logon failure.
is the DNS server correct or are you using same one else external?
The Domain Controller is doing DNS and it is correct.
log-on failure is explicit, ensure that the users are you using has the grant to join the domain and the grat to create the new AD object in the OU Computers, btw you can create it manually and try again
I’m having the same issues with my EX4100 - I sent it back to WD in December after the firmware update. I got it back and I am having the same issue again. The password/username/DNS server are correct. I will need to test on a different environment. I have aWwindwos 2011 SBS.
