Transmission 1.12

before update OS 5.0 my transmission use to work without me login into my NAS …
now after the update WD add transmission VER. 1.12 i need to log in all the time to my NAS to use it … is there away i can update transmission or by pass the issue ???

@WDStaff I too would like an answer on this topic. At what point will you be releasing a firmware update to allow us to access transmission without having to first authenticate through the admin page?

@Sababapo you can do this if you use uBlock Origin and have advanced mode turned on:

I too found a way to block this using uBlock Origin, huzzah!

You must have advanced mode turned on in the extension settings and then when you navigate to YourIP for your NAS you configure the settings like this:

Once this is set, using direct links like MyIP/apps/transmission/web/transmission.html works without having to go through the admin panel and navigating to the app configure first too! Great success!
