Sorry if this is too simple a question, but I honestly can’t find the answer.
Per MyPassport instructions - I have the option to Retrieve backed up files to their “original location” or create a “retrieved data” folder. However, what I’m wanting to do is transfer retrieved files to a new laptop. I used the standard (By category) method of backing up my C and D drives - but I can’t tell if there is an easy way to restore those files into a NEW location (new because its a new laptop).
What I had assumed would happen was that a retrieval would give me the option t coppy files according to the file structure from the old laptop - but I’m not sure that that can or will happen. Any help would be welcome.
