I set up a WD Cloud for my parents. I’m using it for my moms Time Machine and it’s been backing up. My mom had to take the computer to the shop, wifi dropping. They tell her nothing is wrong but they reset it anyways. So now I’m trying to restore it.
I open up the restore on the mac, find the Time Machine point (there are two for some reason though). It kept asking me for server login, even though the time machine is set to public and was backed up as guest. I modified the admin on the WD Cloud, put int he credentials and then the busy circle starts again until error 112 and it can’t start restoring.
Has anyone successfully restored from a WD Cloud to a Macbook? I’m stumped, help please.
