Does anyone know of any surveillance apps you can use with WD My Cloud EX2 I was thinking of purchasing one if I could use it with my IP Cameras? Thanks
EX2 with its Marvell ARMADA 370 is not powerful enough to run a Surveillance VMS Video Management System on it beside some other services. Best would be to use the EX2 as simple SMB or FTP storage from within the camera(s) - if supported by the cameras.
Take a look at the new EX2 Ultra, this one comes with Milestone ARCUS as additional surveillance App to be installed from within the App center. It supports all kind of cameras, best are ONVIF compatible cameras.
