When I start the WD TV Live and go to network shares it scans, sometimes for a while, then usually finds my PC. I connect and most of the time it only shows the Users share and not the two shared video folders. I’ve checked sharing and permissions and they are OK. I can see the shares from other PC’s. What’s strange is that sometimes I will unplug it and restart it and it will find one of the video shares, but then say its empty when its packed with hundreds of gigs of video.
What’s strange is it has no problems with audio shares, it finds my shared iTunes folder with no problem and plays just fine.
