Subtitle Problem

Hello guys,

I have a WD TV and I’m having trouble running subtitles. I have a WD My Cloud where I store my videos and captions (same name, with .srt extension). I try to run these videos using my WD TV but the subtitles do not appear. I tried to watch the video accessing via network share → Windows → WDMYCLOUD but it asks for a username and password unknown to me and can not access.

What username and password is this?

Hi,

Make sure that the subtitles are within the same folder of the files.

Regarding the password, try using the username and password for your network or the username for the PC.

Not sure if this is the case for WD, but the Asus media player required the subs to have the same name/title as the video file.
