Spelling correction for next update

I just bought a new EX4 with 16TB.  So far I love it, for the most part.  The control panel is certainly a big improvement over my 6TB Duo.

However, I was disappointed it was already pre-formatted for RAID 5, which I didn’t realize until after I transferred and wiped all the data from my Duo drive.  So instead of doubling my capacity I only added 50%, and it’s definately not worth the money I paid for only 4TM more.  A

WD - there is a spelling error under “Device Maintenance”.  My machine says the Device Uptime is “0 day 14 hourss 5 minutes”.  There is one too many “s” in “hours”.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing your experience with the unit.

Thanks for your feedback!

WD Support can help you change your device to RAID 0 mode, which will give you the full 16TB volume without the protection of fault tolerance.  ( http://support.wdc.com))
