Sorting of fotos by captur date

hello,

i have a problem wit the “mycloud”.

wehn i upload all my fotos from my iphone with the ios app. the wd cloud sorts them by the uploading date. i would rather like it sorting it by the capturing date as i do not upload evry day.

is there a way to have this?

Hello and welcome to the WD Community.

At this moment, there’s no option on the app to do that. As a recommendation, add this to the ideas board to see if that can be implemented on future updates.

This iOS WD app upload/sorting issue has been brought up from time to time. The following thread link, from 2013, brings up one way to get around this long running limitation of the WD iOS app by using a third party app to upload the photos and configuring one’s router (if accessing remotely) to forward a port to pass the data to the WD My Cloud. The down side it one has to upload the photos manually.
