I can see on my Sony TV media -network -WD mycloud Twonkey server-
but its shows no videos!
How can I solve this?
Have you set up the DLNA option by toggling on the Media Share on the folders/Shares with your video files on it?
Yes I already did as I am viewing photos and videos on my iPhone and iPad from that same wd mycloud.
Here is how I select video from my My Cloud on my Sony TV. First I click on Home on my Remote Control and choose my Video app. See image below. Click on, tap or activate images to enlarge them.
Then I select Device.
Then I select WDMYCLOUD
Then from my Video folders I select which movies I want to watch.
Stupid question but are your videos in a format supported by Twonky/My Cloud?
A
It is .mp4 files. My Tv is Sony Bravia series 55"
I go to home button
To media
To video
To WD twangy server at WDMycloud
This shows message " the server is not accessible. Access may not be permitted by the server.
In fact I set the Ed server to play all media files and I am plying them on my iPad and iPhone without any problem . It’s only my Tv is having problem
I’m wondering if it’s a login issue in that case.
DLNA doesn’t require a login; that’s both a positive and a negative…
I wonder if the TV is retaining an old association for the Twonky server. Is there a way of refreshing the list of network devices on the TV?
