Sony Bravia kdl-50w828 can't connect My Cloud media server

I can see the media server on the list, but when I try to connect, the screen remains black and after a short period of time I get a message saying the media player closes. I can’t even see any folders or files, only black screen.
I updated the firmware of My Cloud, but still the same.
Any clue of what to do?

Can you see the media server with any other device? A phone or tablet, running any one of the many upnp/dlna apps?

Can you connect the Sony to any other media servers?
