wd my book live with the WDBACG0020HCH 2 TB series is already 8 years old and has never been turned off and is now experiencing disconnections in one day and can disconnect three times or more.
I don’t know why this can happen even though previously it was normal for data transfers to be written and read simultaneously by several users. This happened after a power outage. I checked the controller PCB, it was still good, there were no traces of burnt components, then when it broke, I checked the IP address on The WD still connects and doesn’t break and the WD indicator is still flashing green, I’ve also installed a cooling fan, I’ve also replaced the adapter with a new one and I’ve checked the HDD physically and on the Sentinel hard disk it’s still fine.
There may be other solutions and any information would be very important to me. Thank You
