Solid Yellow Light - Western Digital My Book Live
I have the 2TB version and I was just working on it. Now I am unable to access it, I figured that the led in front is a solid yellow light instead of a blinking green light. I had this NAS working for only two months and its junk. I hope my situation was as easy as having it replaced under warranty, but my precious files are in there. Is there any other way I can extract my files out of this junk? I don’t care if the device wont be replaced by tampering/opening it up, I just want my files. WD Techsupport referred me to Drive Savers which would cost me 10x more than the device itself. Isn’t that ridiculous?
