SmartWare No Longer Sees MyCloud

My backup is set for every Sunday at 10am.  This has worked perfectly for months.  I took my laptop on vacation where I was unable to connect to the network for 3 Sundays.  I returned this week and this morning SmartWare does not see the MyCloud drive.  All other programs (Windows Explorer, Dashboard, MyCloud) see it just fine.

I have rebooted my computer, run diagnostics on the drive, and upgraded the SmartWare Pro Software. Nothing works.  Any suggestions?

PS QuickView isn’t reporting stats.

Did you unplug the power to your router at the router, wait about one minute and then plug it back in. Give it time to reboot and then check to see if your My Cloud shows up in SmartWare.

I haven’t rebooted the router/gateway as I can see the MyCloud drive using all other access mechanisms.  I will do the reboot but I can think of no logical reason that the router would be the issue since it allows communication with the drive via MyCloud software and Windows Explorer via WiFi.  Will post results shortly.

That worked and I still have no idea why it should have.  Maybe a port blocked but the Mac on the network continued to use time machine without any issues.

Now the BackUp tab is blank.  It shows my computer and an arrow but the data for backup and the data backed up are blank.  No way to do the backup without that info and the buttons don’t work.

Rebooted the MyCloud drive and the backup tab is still blank.

Strange, late last night the backup tab populated without me making any changes.  Obviously a communications issue but no idea what would have taken hours to resolve after a reboot.
