Single Bay My Cloud and GoodSync PRO

Hello, I just purchased GoodSync PRO hoping to use it instead of WD Sync, and it seems it is not compatible with single bay My Cloud devices. It works great if your are located where your My Cloud NAS is but if you are remote, you cannot access your NAS. I tried assistance with GoodSync and thy say I shoulc contact WD, but I do not seem to find any information anywhere in WD. Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated. My NAS runs firmmare 2.xxx.xxxx
