Shuttle xl ev series

Hi,

We just recieved our shuttle xl ev series.

We cannot access the shuttle - it shows up in the list of attached thunderbolt devices, but when we search for the shuttle in the studio utility nothing shows up.

We are working on a windows 10 Dell tower.

Can you please advice what to do?

You need to make sure the drivers are installed on the system.

Install the drivers for whichever version of the unit you purchased:

Thunderbolt 3 drivers

Thunderbolt 2 drivers

When I open the gspeed utility is responds with “device not found”.

I can access the drive with a mac - but I need to work with the drive on my workstation.

The Thunderbolt software on the system is for the Thunderbolt interface on your computer, it doesn’t show that our drivers are indeed being used properly by the system.

That being said the drive is formatted out of the box for Mac only. It will not show on Windows the way you expect. Do you see it in Disk Management at all?

In device manager do you see any ! or ?. It is possible it is trying to use built in Windows drivers and not our drivers. You can manually point them to the G-Technology directory in Program Files if you have them installed.
