Second HDD - WD Blue 1TB is detected by Bios, not computer

Looks like my HDD drive has power, and is properly connected to the motherboard since it is detected in the BIOS. Unfortunately, it does not show up in my computer, file explorer, disk management, etc.
Downloaded WD dashboard… no success either. Updated windows (10) with latest. Please help.

Was this a new or used harddrive?

  1. If new, just ask for replacement.
  2. If used hard drive, how old? It could just be fried.
  3. Also if used, could it have been used as a boot hard drive so it could not show up in file explorer.
