Says my easystore isn't connected, but it is -- it blinks on and off

I just want my easystore to start working, but it says it isn’t connected. I have connected it to the wall plug and to the USB port. Is there something else?

Have you tried connecting it to a different port on the computer? Have you tried with a different USB cable? Does a different computer recognize it?
