I have an EX4100 that I populated with 4TB HDDs from various sources (old PCs, disposed macPro, etc.). The newest spinning rust is about 5 years old and you don’t want to know about the oldest. As much as I’d like to replace them with larger HDDs I know OS5 doesn’t like that.
Will I need to replace each HDD one at a time, rebuild the RAID 5, rinse and repeat? This is what I get from 2 and 4 Bay Internal Drive Replacement for WD My Cloud.
