My device is an 8TB and requires 12V 3A 36W. I am trying to find a replacement power unit but unable to ascertain tbe polarity of the ‘tip’ nor the diameter. Can anyone help me?

Yes. It provides volts, amps and watts requirement but not the polarity of the tip nor the dimensions of the tip. Hence my query.
So this part of the information didn’t help? Did you look at the vendors and check what they have and ask them your question about the adapter?
