I have my Documents folder in the Public folder on MyCloud and would like to remove so that other people can’t see all my personal documents. How do I do this?
Move to a different share. You cannot really change permissions in the way you are wanting to. (On single folder under public)
It defeats the purpose of a public folder anyway. Better to create a new limited access share, and move the folder there.
How do I move it? Is it simple as dragging it in “finder”? Fyi, I’m on a max, if that makes a difference.
If you don’t want it in the Public folder, unless it is to large, I would suggest cut and paste to a new share.
