Hi there,

I’m just in the process of buying a NAS to use with Plex media server and my PS4.
The EX2 have everything I’m looking for but want to double check something before I purchase it.
Am I able to install utorrent / transmission / bittorrent to the EX2 and use my phone to add torrents to the NAS?
Basically I’m wanting to skip my computer all together when downloading torrents.

Hope this makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

the unit does have a P2P app and also transmission, however i have not tried loading the torrents from a phone, lets see if another user can share some information or tips on this matter.

I use transmission with my iPad all the time and never turn on my pc. But I have found that you have to use magnet links for it work.

Can I ask you exactly how you achieved that? I have transmission installed, but I can’t figure out how to download torrents via my phone from here on.
