Remote Backup to another server

I notice under Remote Backups, it is mentioned backup to another EX4. Question is can I do a backup to another server, just a normal server running on Windows?

Hello and welcome to the WD community.

The remote backup will work if it is done to another EX4, EX2 and on a MyCloud Mirror unit, but not to another server that is not one of those models.
