I’ve had a remote synchronisation backup job configured from my PR4100 to my EX4100 for some time now, both are on OS5 (PR4100 has 5.06.115 and EX4100 has 5.08.115 f/w. Auto updates are disabled on the PR4100).
Both NAS are configured with 4 x 6TB drives in RAID5 (18TB usable storage).
The backup starts at 4am and I have the EX4100 set to power down at 8am. Most nights the job takes about 45 mins to figure out what needs backup and synchronise the small amount of data that has changed.
There was an update to the Remote Backup app which I installed yesterday and this morning I got an email from my PR4100 advising there was a backup error just after 8am
It seems the target has been deleted and trying to refresh it from the beginning? My source NAS has 12.6TB free and the target now has 17.4TB free.
The app update seems to have caused some issue with remote sync jobs?
