Remote Access to My Cloud 4TB via OpenVPN on Netgear Nighthawk X4 r7500v2

Hi. I’m trying to set things up so that I can remotely access my My Cloud 4TB (single bay - firmware 2.31.195) via my router’s (Netgear Nighthawk X4 r7500v2) Open VPN function. I’ve got the VPN client’s successfully installed and working on my Win 10 laptop and iPhone. But I’m not sure what I need to do from there to be able to access the My Cloud.

On your iPhone while connected by VPN:

• Files app > Browse > “…” (on upper right of screen) > Connect to Server > MyCloud.lan_name
• you should see your MyCloud folders

It has been many years since I used Windows, but I think you have to map the MyCloud drive.
