Question about harddrive accessibility

If I buy a WDTV Live, plug it into my home network router using an Ethernet cable, and then plug in a USB harddrive (1 TB LaCie) to the WDTV Live, will the computers on my network be able to see that LaCie harddrive, and copy files to it?

My router is a run-of-the-mill Belkin, and I have 1 MacPro hardwired to it, and another MacBook connected wirelessly. Friends often come over with PCs and log-on to the network wirelessly.
