Problems with WD My Cloud V4

Good Day,

I read most posts from this community, but I need help from specialists.

I have updated firm. to v4, after that I installed Transmission with Errors(it has not been launched).

But problem not in Transmission, but in UI. It show blank(white) page when I try to access, but I can access to files.

Please, Please - Can somebody write me step by step with commands(like for NOOB) how to restore my WD that it work like previosly without missing any information on HDD. 

I have access to SSH through Putty.

Just reflash the firmware. After the steps below, if your WD Dashboard is not in the correct state, go to the settings and do a “System Only” factory restore, no data lost.

Download:
wget http://download.wdc.com/nas/sq-040000-607-20140630.deb.zip

Unzip:
unzip sq-040000-607-20140630.deb.zip

Update:
/usr/local/sbin/updateFirmwareFromFile.sh sq-040000-607-20140630.deb

Can you, please, tell me how to do that ‘/usr/local/sbin/updateFirmwareFromFile.sh sq-040000-607-20140630.deb’? Through Putty? Where I need to place Unzipped file?

Also, ‘go to the settings and do a “System Only” factory restore, no data lost.’ - how I can got settings? What I need to do?

Can you, please, write steps by steps like for Noob.

Just follow the steps and yes you need putty. Settings are on the WD Dashboard GUI.

when I doing command : wget http://download.wdc.com/nas/sq-040000-607-20140630.deb.zip it says me:

‘wget: error while loading shared libraries: libp11-kit.so.0: ELF load command alignment not page-aligned’

What I need to do in this situation.

Download the zip manually using your PC. Then update from WD’s Dashboard firmware upgrade from file.

Want to ask about Transmission.

Do I need to leave Firmware version 4 and install transmission using this manual:

or maybe I need to install Transmission another instruction or previous versions of firmware.

No problem. You can use the guide in that thread to install transmission on v4 firmware. It will also work with the latest v4 firmware recently released.
