Problem with wd my passport (external hard)

my external hard has suddenly stopped working , when i connect it i find  light off , but i’m still hearing the sond of it’s fan or motor idk but the normal sound of the hard , but my laptop doesn’t show it please help me because i have lots of important data

Check if the drive shows on Disk Management.

Try a different USB cable.
