I am considering puchasing a WD MyCloud and would appreciate some help from those of you already familar with the device.  I have a number of movies purchased from the iTunes store.  All are m4v files with DRM.

The WD website refers to “anywhere access to your files”, “DLNA/UPnP devices for streaming” and “iTunes server”.  Let’s say I copy the m4v files onto the WD MyCloud device.  Can I then stream the movies from the WD MyCloud device to my iPad, when I’m sitting in a cafe several hundred miles away from home?

Yes, using the WD My Cloud App available from the iTunes Store.

Keep in mind your home upload speed as this is generaly very low so it could limit this being practical
