PR4100 email notification doesn't work

Hi,
I bought a PR4100 and upgraded his firmware to 2.31.204.
I set up the email notification but I don’t receive any email.
Trying also the “Send Test Email” I receive nothing.
Any idea?

I appreciate your answer but I know that FAQ.
After further investigation I found the smtp server configured in /etc/smtp.conf (which is notify.senvid.net) doesn’t exist over the internet.
I tried to replace host/port/username/passowrd with my gmail parameters but still doesn’t work.
Please provide a solution for this issue, without the email notifiation this NAS is unusable for me.
Please fix this issue otherwise I cannot use the NAS.
If this is not fixable please let me know so I start the return procedure.
