Photo storage and sharing in RAW and JPEG

Hello,

Can i storage and share both (Sony) Raw an JPEG pictures on the EX2 Ultra? Will be sharing them with iPone and Ipad, and working on Windows10 PC and laptop.
Wil it be possible to work on PC in Photoshop while storing all the pictures on the NAS (have only SSD in computer with windows, office, photoshop and so on, no storage)?
I want to use the NAS as an network-storage disk, use at the moment an external HD for it.
Thanks for the reactios/advice.

Peter

While the unit will support RAW and JPEG files, performance depends on your entire network. If you do not have a powerful router and a good local connection then working with Photoshop can be slower than using your local hard drive. if you visit the Adobe forums you’ll notice the program is very sensitive to NAS storage and networking bottlenecks.

Hello,

I got a very ood router, and the NAS wile be connected with the PC via the gigabit and router, so the connection and speed of it must be oke. Don’t youse the catalouge of lightroom, so i don’t expect problems in the. I use at the moment Micosoft viewer, and that works fine for me, also regonise the Sony RAW image’s.

Will it also wor on a My Cloud Mirror? Or wille yhe 512 MB vs the 1 Gb intern RAM be a problem?

For data access it should not be an issue. The application itself would not be running off the NAS.

Thanks very much for all the information and advice, i know now much more what and how to choose.
