Passport Ultra Not Backing Up

I’ve had a 1TB Passport Ultra for about a year and it’s worked flawlessly… until the 2.4.14 Smartware update which I did yesterday. Now, for some reason, the files are not getting updated even though the back-up runs and completes successfully (at least according to Smartware). What’s going on here? I’d love to get this working.

I recommend you uninstall WD Smartware and reinstall the latest version.

Thanks, Hamlet. I tried your suggestion but it still doesn’t work; the files on the Passport are not getting updated despite Smartware telling me they have been.

I’m totally stumped.

Btw, I forgot to mention that my pc is running Windows 8.1, if that matters.
