I was struggling with the OS5 upgrade. I have upgraded my fiwrmware on my Mycloud Mirror GEN2 to version 5.05.111 and now the indexation is much faster. I did 30% of intxation in 2h hours.

The NAS is more responsiveness and I was able to reconfigure my cloud users to use smartphone and remote accesses:

It seems that this new firmware solve my issues

Did anybody had the same experience?

Where did you see the progress?

OK, it is new in this version.

Good news, because my device is indexing since 2 weeks now and I don’t know about the progress.

Why is that ?

Hi all - how do you manually update the firmware to [5.05.111]. Is there any guide how to do it? thanks in advance.

Download firmware for your device
https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/product-detail/p/137#WD_downloads

Go to the dashboard → settings → firmware update → manual update and select the file.
