Not able to use WD My Cloud EX Ultra 2 to run applications after firmware upgrade 2.31.195

Dear all, I am using a MyCloud Mirror Rev. 2, and since Firmware Version 2.31.193, a login via SSH is not possible anymore. Also, version 2.31.195 (the latest) is defective. Only a downgrade to version 2.31.183 did make SSH working again. Please correct this issue.

Unable to set root password using version 2.31.195 for EX2 Ultra

Apparently the latest version 2.31.195 for EX2 Ultra is not using the SSH password set in the GUI to gain root access. Does somebody know how to gain root access using version 2.31.195? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply , i have found something that avoids the need to logon through ssh altogether…

It is strange that these changes are pushed without notice !
